Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

Reelwise is an individually-developed, early-access tool that helps a creator turn long-form video into short-form clips: it transcribes uploaded video, uses AI to suggest which segments to cut, renders the chosen segments into a finished short video, and — only with the user's explicit, per-post confirmation — can publish that finished video to a connected social media account (currently Instagram, YouTube, and/or TikTok).

1. Who this is for

Reelwise is a paid subscription service, operated by an individual developer/sole proprietor (not a registered company). It offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier (billed monthly through Polar.sh, our payment provider and merchant of record). It is openly available to any creator who signs up.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of any video you upload to Reelwise. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to any video you upload and to any social media account you connect. Reelwise only publishes content to a connected account when you explicitly confirm that specific publish action — Reelwise never posts on your behalf automatically or without that confirmation.

3. Acceptable use

Don't upload content you don't have the rights to, and don't use Reelwise to publish content that violates the terms of service of the destination platform (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) or applicable law.

4. No warranty

Reelwise is provided "as is," in active development, without warranty of any kind. AI-generated suggestions (clip selection, titles, hashtags, etc.) are suggestions only — review them before publishing.

5. Changes

These terms may be updated as the project develops. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
